The NTV News Team works
together to bring the news of the province, the nation and the world to the
living rooms of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. Each week more than
thirteen hours of news programming is produced by a team of journalists with a
well earned reputation for integrity and honesty. There are no less than three
full daily newscasts with the one hour long NTV Evening News remaining the
flagship news program of the network. In addition to the regular daily
newscasts, the news team produces a series of News Checkpoints that run at
various times through out the day. At NTV, news is a commitment and a twenty
four hour a day business.
